MG’s friend from Italy Marco and his girlfriend Olga from Belarus came last night. Both of them are nice and friendly person. They brought the black olive for MG. The fruit is very expensive in the supermarket. They went off to Kota Tua for sightseeing, I didn’t want to join because I knew how the traffic will be from Lebak Bulus to Stasiun Kota by TransJakarta. One thing that I Know, only God knows when you will arrive the destination. Instead I went to Pondok Indah Mall to meet friend.
When we had gathered for dinner in home. Marco and Olga is very exhausted. In the end, they decided to walk until reach home. MG and I smile to him, because the first day in Jakarta he already shocked with the traffic jam. One thing that I always remember, MG always said, “Marco, you must back home before 4 pm in the afternoon, you will be save, or you will trap in the long traffic jam” . I just smile and wondering, it looks like a death game, if you are not in hurry, you will trap forever and no way to escape.
To cure their tiredness on the road. MG prepared some surprise dinner for them. It’s a polenta. Polenta iS cornmeal boiled into a porridge and eaten directly or baked, fried or grilled. Polenta is known to be a native dish and originated from North Italia. Usually they will eat with gravy, cheese and tomato sauce. What is a special for today, polenta is mixed with Rendang. Rendang is a native culinary from Minang tribe. Based on the Unesco, rendang is one of the top ten delicious food in the world. It is also decorated with fresh kiwi. The plain polenta mixing with the spicy and hot beef rendang crashed in the mouth with the sweet-sour of the green kiwi. The combination is perfecto and numbero uno. Marco even needs more time to finish the food.
We had Kiwi smoothies after all. If you eat some beef, you will need some drink that can balance your diet. And Kiwi smoothies is all the answer. It’s the mixing of milk, kiwi and some fresh mint leaf with low diet sugar.
The experience of the culinary of the third day is finish, because we don’t have any empty space to allocate the food in the stomach. Happy culinary and try:D
